Apply to join Rust Protection Network Ireland
RPNI is an independently operated rust-protection network, building Ireland-wide coverage from its first Approved Centres. RPNI trains and assesses participating garages, maintains treatment records and administers its own rust-protection programme. Approved Centres use professional Mercasol or Noxudol corrosion-protection systems selected for the vehicle and treatment specification.
Because the network is new, early Approved Centres are the first — and for now the only — listed workshop in their part of the country.
What participating garages receive:
- Training and assessment for RPNI approval, followed by listing in the public Approved Centre directory.
- Your own treatment registry — record each treatment, upload before-and-after photographs and issue a numbered Vehicle Rust Protection Certificate & Inspection Record.
- Income overview — see your rustproofing work and revenue by month.
- Trade product support for the professional Mercasol or Noxudol system used by the Approved Centre.
The Starter Kit
Each successful applicant begins with an agreed professional equipment and product package suitable for the approved treatment process:
- Two Assalub 1:26 professional pump systems — one for high-pressure cavity injection, one for underbody coating.
- Full nozzle and spares set — four application nozzles (including 360° radial for closed sections), filters and quick couplings.
- Starter stock of Mercasol products — 831 ML cavity wax and 847 AL underbody coating in 60-litre drums, plus aerosols and Mercasol 9 rust-inhibitor primer for smaller jobs.
- Training, assessment and registry access — once approved, the centre can be listed publicly and issue verifiable RPNI treatment records.
